Through my various Internet explorations either for pleasure or through work I often come across interesting content that I have no idea what to do with. Most of the time I foster the illusion that I may come back to it should I ever have the time. Hopefully I will. In the meantime they remain on my desk…

Who’s Victoire?

I am a 30 year old South African “geek” girl with a variety of interests… I’m newly married to a wonderful geek man, whom I met at the very first 27Dinner. By day I’m a Consultant Business Analyst, and although lately it seems that all I do is work, at night I dream of taking over the world or at the very least changing it in a meaningful way.

I’ve been blogging since around December 2004 on an assortment of blogs, the longest standing is my personal blog over at Blogger. I’ve installed and re-installed on the root domain victoire.za.net too many times to count and have sadly lost countless blog conversations as a result. Since then I’ve lost my patience with my curious side and refused to try out yet another Content Management System, and so On My Desk is here to stay.
